We offer classes to children in the following styles: FUNdamentals (ages 2-6), BOYZ! (all boys class, ages 4-6) Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Contemporary, and Moiseyev-type Character. For the adult dancers, we offer Ballet, Jazz, and Afro-Brazilian Samba weekly and a wide variety of adult workshops. Check out our website for specific workshop dates! Community programming includes various summer dance camps (ages 5-18), birthday parties and studio rentals. Established in 2011. Brooke Byrne and Sonoo H. Petty opened Geary Dance Center in September, 2011 with the mission to bring dance to people's lives whether as preprofessional or recreational students or as informed parents of those students. Dance is a means of expression and should be a joyful experience for all.
